BOTOX VS DYSPORT

Although both Botox and Dysport are made of botulinum A, they have slight variations of formula, using different proteins (onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox), abobotulinumtoxinA (Dysport)). Dysport has a wider spread compared to Botox and will kick in faster compared to Botox due to its smaller particle size. Dysport is approved by the FDA to treat glabellar lines. Botox is approved by the FDA to treat glabellar lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet.
